The Samyukta anthology presents a selection from the short stories that appeared in Samyukta: A Journal of Women’s Studies, published from Thiruvananthapuram. Valsala and Gracy, the anthology also gives space to the younger generation with Ashita, Priya A.S. and Sithara S. The stories seek to represent a whole range of experiences of women that can only be called unique, in a small piece of land at the southern-most tip of India.

Samyukta: A Journal of Women’s Studies is published by Women’s Initiatives, a women’s studies collective. The editorial team includes Jayasree Ramakrishnan Nair, Hema Nair R. and Sreedevi K. Nair.
