Her works include Feminism and Nationalism in the Third World (1968); The Rise of the Labour Movement in Ceylon (1972); The White Woman's Other Burden (1995); and From Nobodies to Somebodies-The Rise of the Colonial Bourgeoisie in Sri Lanka (2000). Her latest book Erasure of the Euro-Asian (Women Unlimited, 2009) is about the Euro-Asian communities of South Asia.
